What does Sun mean?

What does Libra mean?

Libra is all about balance, fairness, and partnership. A person with strong Libra traits loves harmony and strives to make things fair for everyone. They might spend a lot of time weighing options or trying to bring people together, perhaps by suggesting a compromise when friends disagree.

Sun never goes retrograde. Its energy flows steadily forward — no phases of inner retreat, no standstill.

Retrograde
From Earth’s vantage the planet is moving backwards through the zodiac. Astrologically a period of review — the planet’s themes get revisited.
Node (M / T)
Not a planet but where the Moon’s orbit crosses the Sun’s apparent path. Astrologically your karmic life direction. (M) = mean, (T) = true (oscillating).
Lilith (M)
The mean apogee of the Moon’s orbit ("Black Moon"). Represents the untamed, unconscious, tabooed. A point, not a body.
Chiron
Minor planet between Saturn and Uranus. The "wounded healer" — themes where we ourselves are sore, and precisely therefore can help others.

That’s where the sky stands today. What that means for you comes next.

What does the current sky mean?

The current constellation is a snapshot of the sky: which zodiac sign each planet occupies right now — and the angles they form to one another. It is not a horoscope for you personally; it is the sky as it looks for everyone in this moment. Each planet stands for a core force, and the sign colours it: a Moon in Aries feels different from a Moon in Cancer. The interplay of all the positions makes the astrological weather of the day — the forecast we are all moving through.

The sky changes at very different speeds. The fast planets set the mood of the day; the slow ones shape the backdrop of months and years — which is why it pays to read the two layers separately:

How fast the sky changes

Moonabout every 2½ daysthe mood of the day

Constellation, astrological weather, transit — in short

  • Constellation — the snapshot of the sky, the same for everyone: which planet sits in which sign.
  • Astrological weather — the reading of that snapshot: the mood the sky brings today. Not fate — more like a forecast.
  • Transit — the same sky measured against your birth chart: which planet is touching which point of your chart right now? That is what your personalized daily horoscope shows.

Current sky — frequently asked questions

What does the current constellation mean?
The "current constellation" is a snapshot of the sky: which zodiac sign each planet is in right now and the angles (aspects) they form to one another. Astrologers read the mood of the day from it — the so-called astrological weather.
What is astrological “weather” (Zeitqualität)?
Astrological weather describes the flavour of a moment — not as fate but like a forecast: some days invite action, others rest. It applies to everyone alike, independent of your own birth chart.
Which planets are retrograde right now?
Currently retrograde: Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. An “R” in the table above marks each retrograde body. Retrograde means the planet appears to move backwards from Earth’s vantage — astrologically a time of review.
How often do the planetary positions change?
The Moon moves fastest — changing sign roughly every two and a half days. The Sun takes about a month per sign, the outer planets years. This page recalculates continuously so the positions stay current.
Do I need my birth data for this?
No. The current constellation is the sky for everyone. If you want to know how these planets are hitting your personal chart right now, you need your birth date — that’s what your personal daily horoscope shows.
What is the difference between a constellation and a transit?
The constellation is the sky for everyone: which planet sits in which sign. A transit is the same sky measured against your personal birth chart: which planet is touching which point of your chart right now. You read the constellation here — your transits appear in your personalized daily horoscope.
How accurate are the positions on this page?
The positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris engine — the same astronomical standard professional astrology software uses — and refreshed continuously. Degree and sign match the actual sky in this moment.
