Decode your dream

Describe your dream to reveal its deeper meaning

How the dream reading works

  1. 1.Write your dream down as it comes to you — images, places, people, feelings.
  2. 2.Our astrologer reads the two or three strongest images and asks what they might mirror in your life right now.
  3. 3.Your dream journal keeps every dream so you can spot patterns over weeks.

Dream interpretation: images read, not guessed

You wake at 6:40, heart still racing, and one image is stuck in your head: a staircase that never ends, and your old form teacher waiting at the top. Two minutes later the rest is gone. This page is made for exactly that moment — catching the dream before it slips away, then looking calmly at what it might be mirroring in your life right now.

For us, dream interpretation does not mean opening a symbol dictionary and reading off a fixed meaning. The same image can mean something completely different for two people: water is a holiday swim for one, a childhood fear of the pool for another. That is why we ask about your feeling in the dream first — and only then about the symbol.

How to read it yourself

  1. 1Write the dream down right after waking, unordered and in the present tense: "I am standing in a stairwell …". Spelling does not matter.
  2. 2Mark the feeling that was strongest — fear, relief, shame, joy. It is usually the best key.
  3. 3Pick two or three images that still stay with you and ask of each: what in my daily life does this remind me of?
  4. 4Read the dream again in the evening. Often only with some distance do you notice which conversation or worry is in it.
Graphic with a full moon and the three steps of dream reading: write the dream down, mark the strongest feeling, compare the images with your day.
Three steps you can do every morning in two minutes.

Common dream symbols and their common reading

Some images appear in dreams so often that a common reading has formed around them. Take it as a starting point, not a verdict — the question in the right-hand column matters more than the reading in the middle.

When a dream journal pays off

  • When a dream keeps coming back — the same house, the same person, the same situation.
  • When a dream leaves you in a particular mood all morning.
  • When a lot is changing in waking life: a move, a breakup, a new job.

Dreams and the Moon have always been thought of together. If you like, note the current moon phase next to each dream and check after a few weeks whether a pattern shows up. For a second look at the same dream, there is also the dream tarot spread — there you draw cards for the images instead of describing them. And if you want to ask a question directly, our astrologer in the chat can help.

Common questions
What does it mean to dream about falling?
Falling dreams are among the most common dreams of all. They often show up in phases when something feels uncertain — a new job, a relationship that is changing. Ask yourself where you are looking for footing right now.
Why do I forget my dreams so quickly?
Most dreams fade within the first minutes after waking. Stay lying down for a moment after the alarm, keep your eyes closed and then write down three keywords straight away — place, person, feeling. That is enough to find the rest later.
Can a dream predict the future?
We do not read dreams as predictions but as a mirror: they process what is on your mind right now. A dream about losing teeth says nothing about your next dental appointment — more about where you feel vulnerable right now.
How does the dream reading on this page work?
You write your dream into the box above. Our astrologer picks up the strongest images and asks you questions about them instead of handing you a finished verdict. Every dream goes into your dream archive so you can spot patterns over weeks.
