How the planner is laid out

The Astro Planner doesn’t open on January 1st. It opens with a short how-to, then a one-page glossary that translates aspects and retrogrades into a single sentence each, then the year at a glance. After that it runs month by month:

1. A dark opening page for each month with its key dates in one view.
2. One page per week, starting on Monday, every day carrying its astro events and blank lines.
3. A reflection prompt at the end of each week, short enough for five minutes on a Sunday evening.

Events are written out on the day, for example Venus trine Jupiter (a trine just means the two work together without you having to push). If you want to see where those angles come from, the guide to the planets in astrology walks through each one.

Why your timezone matters

A new moon that falls at 00:40 in Berlin is still the evening before in New York. A printed calendar without a timezone puts it on the wrong day for one of those cities. So before you download, you pick one of ten timezones, and every event is converted to your local time. You can look up the current new moon and the next full moon for free at any time; the planner gathers them for the whole year.

Print it, use it on a tablet, give it away

The PDF is set on A4. Have it bound at a print shop or write on it with a stylus in a notes app. If it is a gift, add the recipient’s first name and it appears on the cover. For events straight inside your digital calendar there is the Astro Calendar as an .ics file; for the days the sky touches your own chart, choose the personal Transit Calendar. Where the planets stand right now is on the sky today, and every edition is in the shop.
